What You Will Do: * Supports the roads and highways team on a broad range of municipal roadway, transit and facilities projects including the Scarborough Subway & Yonge North Extensions * Prepares plans and details with limited to high complexity in support of broader engineering activities and interdisciplinary design. * Gathers and records information to be used for cost estimating. * Prepares specifications. * Prepares minor technical reports or sections of larger reports. * Utilizes software to Develop 3D models and to develop construction plans. * Interface with clients and attendance at meetings is required. * Required to coordinate and manage civil engineering sub disciplines such as drainage, traffic, geotechnical, survey and others survey and others Education | Experience: Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering * Professional Engineering license required in Ontario. * 8+ years of applicable experience. * Experience with MicroStation & AutoCAD required. * Experience with InRoads, Open Roads Designer and/or Civil 3D * Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). * Good oral and written communications skills. * Preferred experience in both linear infrastructure and site plan design Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens will be given preference for this opportunity.
